Hi, all.

I know that this topic has been covered numerous times in general and that a lot of people have purchased these now-discontinued kegerators over the years, but I can't find anyone that has done this modification specifically with the Summit SBC-500B Kegerator.

I bought this used this summer on Craigslist and am using it with a triple tap. It's nice - not perfect, but it works.

After using it, I found a few limitations and would like to:

1. Drill a hole through the side and run a gas line through the wall to service an external CO2 tank.

2. Mount a secondary triple body CO2 regulator on the inside of the kegerator (the door or side wall)

Online schematics do not show where the coolant lines run, if at all, on the sides of the unit.

Does anyone have any experience drilling in to the walls of this unit?
