Hey fellas. I've got a corny whose black rubber top has completely fallen off. Thus, I am left with a bare metal top with no indication of which hole was originally the IN and which was the OUT (both posts have been removed). I know it matters which quick disconnect attaches to which post (gas/liquid), but does it matter which post attaches to which hole on the keg itself? They both seem to fit either hole, so I'm guessing it doesn't matter - just want to confirm. Thanks!

Depending on the keg type, the gas in connector nut will look different. Ie see attached.

Gas in with short dip tube

Beer out with long dip tube

Also depending on the keg, your dip tube (beer out) may only fit in one of the holes - use that side for your beer out post.
