Ok. Just moved to a place where I can no longer use my propane set up. Want to convert my 11gal aluminum pot to electric. I am going to probably build this up over time but for now I would like to know if you guys think my simple idea will work for a brew or two. I have two 2000watt elements I am going to install, they are 110v. Is there any reason why I can't just plug each one into a separate gfci outlet and unplug when I reach desired temp?

Excellent thanks. Thought it would work. But I haven't seen anyone doing that yet, only pumps and pids and the works.

This is kinda what I was planning on doing. I haven't thought of switches for each though.
