My brother-in-law-to-be has purchased a red Fiat Bambino to do up. He estimates its going to take him about 3 months to get it road-worthy. I reckon it'll actually take him about twice that, so it gives me plenty of time to brew something to celebrate the big day when he takes it for its first drive in 21 years.

I'm a BIAB brewer with about 2 years experience so I'm up for trying most things.

The questions are:

  • What should I brew?
  • What should I call it?

Your suggestion please and the crazier the better.

Cheers,
Rob

Here's a pic of my little bro (6'8") saddled up in the drivers seat.

I'd brew a Peroni clone, which would be a session lager clocking in about 4.7% abv. Find a simple pale lager recipe that uses corn (about 10%) in the grist and gentle noble hops such as saaz and hallertau. Somewhere in the 15-18 IBU range should be enough. If you could find Saflager S-189, fantastic, because that's the house yeast that Peroni uses.

I would name it: Felinni my Heiny.
