What type of sugar do you use and how did it work out i used dextrose (Corn Sugar) got amazing results!
 
I like the nice subtle caramel hint of Brown Sugars for fermenting and use dextrose for priming.
 
I love honey. I'll use it in primary in a honey ale and prime with about 6 oz for a 5 gallon batch.
 
I use local wildflower honey. Clover and orange blossom are great too. I've heard that there are some you should stray away from though, like buckwheat.
 
I believe the mead association says a minimum of 50% of fermentables need to come from honey in order to fall into the mead category.
 
"Cyser" is cider with honey.

I usually add enough brown sugar to bring my starting gravity up to around 1.060. I try not to go above that as a rule of thumb.
