I'm brewing an African Amber clone tomorrow that calls for British Ale yst WLP005, but my LHBS
tells me there may be a problem with this yeast. (Either from WL or due to shipping) so he suggested
Burton ale WLP023 instead. I know this is a great yst, but I'm afraid it may be too close to the fruity end
of the spectrum rather than the malty end like the 005 strain.
Any suggestions?
