It's been a month since I put my IPA in my fermenting bucket. Had an OG of 1.065 and after a month I'm at about 1.018. I'm short of my target of 1.014. Any advice on what I should do or is this close enough?

After a month you're close enough. In the future be careful with your mash temp, get enough yeast into the beer, treat it good, and make sure it's got a lot of oxygen and you'll get those numbers down.

I feel like I might not have had enough oxygen. Next time I will probably get a starter going first

Yeah, not a big problem, you did make it under 1.020 which to me says you're very close. Won't taste much of a difference between 1.018 and 1.014.

If you get a vigorous shake in for a full minute you'll be pretty well oxygenated. The more the better.
