Sipping my first glass after 3 1/2 weeks since brew day and holy shazbot, this is a beautiful brew! Carared provides ample sweetness & body while the combo of Amarillo & Cascade give heaps of bitterness to back up the Mosaic hops up front and makes you realize that, "hey, this is a Stone beer!" I'm stupid happy with how this one turned out, even for an extract. :v

2 lbs. Carared (20 SRM, steeped @160F, 30 min.)
9 lbs. amber LME (13 SRM)
1 oz Amarillo (1 hr. boil)
1 oz Cascade (1 hr. boil)
1 oz Amarillo (30 min. boil)
1 oz Mosaic (15 min. boil)
1 pouch WLP090 White Labs San Diego Super Yeast (2 if you live in colder climes)
1 tab Whirlfloc because Whirlfloc

Leave in primary for 10-12 days, transfer to secondary for 3 days to clarify
1 oz each Cascade & Mosaic dry-hopped, 7 days before secondary
Age for 5-7 days before bottling/kegging

This batch turned out 1.063 OG > 1.011 FG =6.1% ABV

XML available if anyone wants it.
