Found this stirplate on Ebay, $26.00 + shipping. I'm looking forward to getting it. I have made several starters, but have never had a stirplate to keep it mixed up.

Nice find. Looks like a good one. Stir plates really make starters worthwhile -- big yeast cultures with very little effort.

be careful with the heating part of the stirrer. They tend to be set up for use in Chemistry labs, so the low setting is actually quite hot. Good find, That is were I found my stir plate. I think mine was $30 and did not have the hot plate.
