Starter question

I'm a newbie and just made my first starter. I transported it to my dads where we brew and it has now stopped bubbling. Is this just because of movement? Will it restart? Any harm done if it does?

I'm guessing based on the information you provided, but it could be the temperature. We're you using a stirplate? Just leave it at room temperatures and put it on the stir plate of give it a few shakes. Depending on when you need it, it will most likely pickup again.

Note after about 3 or 4 days, the starter fermentation us done - so you will not see any fermentation activity.
