I put my 2 liter starter on my stir plate yesterday around noon, White Labs Belgian Abby Yeast. Everything was going great, went to bed left it on the stir plate. Woke up to a mess....goopy dough all down the sides of my flask. I just stopped stir plate, cleaned beaker and put in fridge to separate.
Is my starter still good is my only question? I am making a five gallon batch of Belgian Blonde, and its a huge starter, but after reading some posts I am just afraid all my good yeast is on the counter....and now in my washing machine.....
