Starter Needed??

Hello again Hop Heads...quick question...I have made many starters in the past, no problem there..however this weekend ill be brewing Austin Homebrews Blue Moon Clone...with White Labs Belgian Wit 400...the og of the brew is about 1.053...should I make a starter for this allgrain kit?...yes? ...no?...does not matter?..as long as were on the subject..at what gravity should a starter be made?....yupper...another nubie question......Thankx....Tom
 
5 gal batch? Make a starter. Check out Mrmalty or yeastcalc for specific size.
 
Yup, especially if your yeast wasn't manufactured yesterday. Mrmalty.com and yeastcalc.com are both great resources, as mentioned by boydster.
