Spokane, WA - Beer Culture?

This is going to sound like a dumb question since Spokane and Seattle are very close in the grand sceme of it all. I've been throwing around the idea of moving to Spokane (from Seattle) and wanted to get people's take on the beer culture in Spokane from those who live there. I feel lucky that I can literally walk into any Safeway/Albertsons/etc and see a good selection of microbrews, and we also have stores dedicated to the sales of microbrews. I can also go to 99 out of 100 bars/pubs/tavern and find at least one really good quality brew, most have several. So what's Spokane like in that regard? Is there a good array of LBHS?

Eh. One local homebrew shop here, a better one in Coeur D'Lane (sp?)

Few good microbrew stores. JB's is the best. Couple local homebrew clubs that I avoid.
