Hi Everyone,
I've read through a lot of the forums here, but can't seem to find a specific answer to my question.

I've been doing some partial mash-brewing, but want to break into the all grain world, so i've been doing my research and learning how.

One question I still have is in regards to specialty grains. In the partial mash kits, specialty grains are steeped in the liquor and then discarded (then the malt extract is added, then the hops, etc). Would there be any reason to do this in an all grain brew, or should I just add all the grains to the mash?

Thanks!

An overwhelming percentage of all-grain brewers just put the specialty grains in to the mash.
