Been coming around for a few months, but just found this introduction area.
It all started in March of 2010 when my brewing buddy got a starter kit for his birthday. Less than 2 months later my wife got me a starter kit for my birthday and we have been non-stop since then. Eventhough we are both extremely busy and our small apartments in Chicago make brewing a little challenging, we are still brewing a batch almost every month. We have progressed from extract for our 1st 5 batches to PM for the next 6 and are trying to figure out a way to go AG in the future. Like many others here we like big bold beers and are learning a ton while trying to brew them. This board was essential for us as we learned new/better practices. Thanks to everyone here!
