This was a fun little experiment to try side by side. I decided for fun to do a side by side comparison of Surly Furious and Midwest's Ferocious IPA clone kit.



Lots of surprises, and the brew is even still changing slightly after I've bottled it as well.

Do you think clone kits are worth the time and effort?

I use clone kits all the time and they always work great. Most of the time the clone actually tastes better.
