I just put my pumpkin ale In the secondary with a vodka spice tincture and I've got a few stringy blobs floating around. Is this the first signs of a full-on ropey infection?

In the hope that someone will come across this, I've been monitoring it and there is no growth in size or quantity.

Anyone have any ideas?

Just yeast?

Yeast, protein etc. it's beautiful looking beer I think. Looks perfectly fine to me, nice and clear
Cheers

Looks like remnants of pumpkin guts from the picture. Like the kind you scrap out when making a jack-o-lantern.
Just my two cents

I like to close the loop in these forums in case someone else has the same issue.... Sooooo

I just racked from the secondary to the keg, and no contamination whatsoever.

Theory: The bourbon tincture and spice addition added fermentable sugars which attracted a nice yeast community and stayed afloat due to the CO2.

Thanks all!
