I finished brewing an all grain batch about 3 hours ago. It was the first time I attempted a yeast starter and the first time I oxygenated using an oxygen stone.

Everything went well but after I cleaned up I read that I should have run the oxygen for 1-2 minutes. I only ran it for about 45 seconds. Should I bother doing it some more now?

I am concerned about the risk of contamination vs. the payoff of additional oxygen. What do you think?

I don't think so. You already introduced more oxygen than any amount of shaking can introduce.
