So I'm looking to make a nice sessionable pale ale for our beach vacation in about 2 months. I am trying to go with the grains that I already have which is about 10 lbs 2 row and 10 lbs Vienna. I was wondering if anyone has done like 50/50 or 60/40 with these as their base malts. I do have some crystal I will add as well. I have heard of people doing a Smash with all Vienna but could find anything with both. Anyone have any input?? This will be a 10 gal batch too FYI.
