on the way home last night from our local monthly interclub judging, my wife said she thought that my altbier should have been served colder.
my preference is to always drink colder than the recommendations, but that's just me, so i deliberately chilled it just a bit and carried in a cooler, but with no ice(as i would have for my own use).
this led me to wonder how temperatures are handled at official competitions. do they serve according to what each style requires, or the brewer suggests(i've never noticed that asked for on entry forms) refrigerate them all, or set them all out on the table until they are poured?
