I've been wanting to pick one up myself and I was planning on just grabbing the cheap one you can find for food or a jeweler scale.

does up to roughly 2lbs. For hops this should work fine. At least for 5gal batches. It's 12 bucks shipped and does double the amount that scale does. You can also find these at local tobacco stores/cigar stores/head shops. Hobby shops sell them also. Just do a search for jewelry scale and pick which ever you like.

EDIT:
I just found this http://www.ebay.com/itm/0-1g-1000g-...ltDomain_0&hash=item3a72ff5fc2#ht_3400wt_1061
5.99 SHIPPED. I actually just bought this after I found it. Thanks.

Walmart has a nice digital scale that weighs grams, ounces and pounds, up to 10lbs. I can weigh my hops in ounces and my grains up to 10 lbs., LME, DME, or whatever. Has a tare feature also.
Seems accurate and it's only $19.95, in the housewares section, made by Mainstays.

I ordered this one the other night, http://www.brewhardware.com/timerscales and it just arrived today. I have not yet had much time to play with it, so I don't know that much about it. I did place a small plastic bag on my 11 pound digital scale (it did not register on that scale) and then on the new scale from Bobby. I was surprised how much the bag really did weigh. I am pleased that the scale was able to register on the scale. I think that it will be a good purchase. Mark:mug:

Edit: The plastic bag registered at 25 thousandths (0.025) ounces. I am pressed
