I've baked bottles before. I did it on my first batch. I didn't trust the sanitizer that came with my kit. It was more of surface cleaner than a sanitizer. I didn't have any contaminations and it worked well. Just remember that it takes a while for the bottles to cool down. I don't remember what temperature I baked them, or for how long. I think I used a chart from maybe Complete Joy of Homebrewing.
I liked the baking alright. Although I prefer the spray bottle with Star-san better. Certain bottles are difficult to stack (Hoegarden) in the oven.
