This is what I'm brewing today. It's sparging right now, so unless your suggestions have to do with hops, keep em to yourself Just kidding. Any ideas are welcome.
12 gal batch
pred OG - 1.071
IBUs - 60.4
Color - 14.1 SRM
malt/sugars -
20 lbs 2-row
1 lb Victory
1 lb CaraMunich
2 oz Black Patent
2 oz Black Roasted (unmalted) barley
2 lbs Invert Sugar
hops -
2 oz Columbus (17% aa) - 60 minutes
2 oz Centennial (10% aa) - 30 minutes
2 oz Cascade (6% aa) - 2 minutes
2 oz Amarillo dry (maybe more)
Pitching onto the White Labs California yeast from last week's Flanders Red.
Standard single infusion mash at 150. Mash went a little over an hour because I overheated my sparge water.
I like the color quite a bit. Hit pretty much what I was after.
Cheers
