I got some assorted ingredients as Christmas gifts, and wanted to beer an experimental batch tomorrow and wanted to see what anyone thought.
6 lbs northern brewer pilsen malt syrup
3.3 lbs Briess Rye malt syrup
.75 lbs belgian caramel pils specialty grain
.25 lbs briess caramel 120 specialty grain
1 oz chinook 60 min.
1 oz chinook 5 min.
1 oz chinook for dry hopping
yeast safale us-05
Can this be good? Would this be similar to a rye pa? I know it's a simple recipe, but I want to brew something, and don't want to wait for what I order to get to my home (I have no homebrew shop near me).
Any input would sure be appreciated.
