Rice hulls - never get a stuck mash

Do rice hulls lend any flavor or are they solely for the purpose of avoiding a stuck system or mash?

Rice hulls add no flavor but they replace the missing hulls when you use wheat or rye instead of just barley. Since neither wheat nor rye have hulls they tend to cause stuck sparges.
