do you think this is going to taste any good? im looking to brew a light lager like beer with california lager yeast. i dont have a fermentation chamber but i can maintain a 55 f on my swamp cooler.
i am also finding the hop bill unecessarily complicated.
where do i change mash thickness on brewsmith?
thank you very much, any input is helpfull.

Recipe looks kind of intriguing to be honest.

Are you very familiar with noble hop flavors?

Don't worry about the temp, use whatever lager yeast you want, 55F is going to be fine. You may be able to change the grist ratio in Beersmith under Profiles>Mash, not sure at the moment.

no very familiar but i have used them before but i admit i am more familiar with the american kind of hops. the problem with this recipe is that i cannot imagine what is it gonna be and since i like to make my own recipes i need some advice.

im thinking about lowering the ibus to 20 instead of 27. i wanted to feel light on the bitterness.

I would say that isn't a bad idea, I have learned through my own mistakes that not enough malty background can make an otherwise tame IBU beer, almost undrinkable.

The noble hops are going to be more spicy, musty, earthy, not quite the same flavors from the American ones. Not a bad thing, just different. First time I dosed a beer good with them I was surprised, and it took me a bit to get used to that flavor.

Brew it, and let us know how it turns out!

i know the flavor of noble hops and used them before but not as often as american stile hops. i wiil keep the ibus at 19.5 and maybe i should do a first wort addition and a 60 min and that's it, no aroma addition which a think it wouldn't be authentic.
i like the name chex mix lol.:tank:
