So I got some information from Deschuttes on this beer and this is what I put together. Any thoughts on how close it should be to the original? Thank!!

I had some red chair last week and was curious as to what the hop schedule looks like. I didn't realize it was a 90 minute boil. 'fraid i can't really help you with the recipe but i hope you'll check back into tell us how it ends up comparing.

The yeast you have is wrong, if you care. They use an English strain. Times, temps, quantities, well you know the drill they give on that. Whatever you go with your recipe should produce a great beer anyway.

That's true on the yeast I was still trying to figure that one out. Thanks!!

I just had my first Red Chair the other week on a biz trip. Was thinking about what to brew next...now I have my answer!

I loved Deschutes before they updated their website, but the new homebrewing thing they do is awesome. I was really surprised to see all of their reserve series and bond street ales on the list too. Once I get better at this whole brewing thing, I plan to attempt to clone most of their beers.

EDIT: The only thing I wish they would add is SRM for each beer. I'm not visually skilled enough to be able to figure it out just from looking at the beer, so having a number would help me a lot.

I am going to do this one again, it turned out great last time. The 2012 version is on the shelf now, had one yesterday and brings back memories of the one I brewed.

I've had it before. I'm just going to make it this weekend. I played with the recipe a bit and deviated from yours and theirs.
