Hi, I need to put a fan in my keezer, wondering if anyone can recommend one. There are a lot of variations and I just want one that I don't' have to wire and will work in a cool and moist environment.

Any suggestions?

thanks

I use a cooling fan that I removed from an old computer. It moves the air around nicely.

How did you wire it or did you used a certain kind of power cord?

Computer fans run on 12vDC. If you find any old power brick laying around it will tell you the output voltage. USB based phone chargers output 5vDC. It will be enough to run most fans albeit slower which is also quieter as a benefit. Slice the connector off after verifying the charger is a spare and connect up the fan to the live wires. Mount the fan where you'd like it. It will work just the same way if you use a 9v adapter from an old hand held vacuum, splice into an old computer power supply, etc.
