So a notable extract company asked me to do a review of their apple pie extract (I can't say the company until i finish the beer). I was thinking of making a 3 gallon batch of beer to try out their apple pie extract. I'd like to make a Red Ale but it be almost like candy apple red. I think the combo of the color and the extract will be a great way to showcase it. I will be doing an all grain biab batch for this brew. Should I just use Red X malt? Is there something else I should do? Any and all help would be appreciated it.
