I've heard the term "real ale." What is it? Is it different from regular commercial made ale?

The tem real ale refers to an ale which is conditioned in the keg or barrel and served live( the carbonation a direct result of secondary carbonation).
The ale changes as the pints are pulled. Sometimes the beer will change over 24 hours so much that you will not recognise it as the same pint.
