So. I have made easy cider with raspberry and blackberry. Up until now I have made 1 gallon batches and finally made a 5 gallon batch. This batch isn't as clear and robust sadly. And each of my 1 gallon batches has turned out great. AM I doing anything wrong just multiplying the batch and missing something ?
 
I have found that going into a larger batch size requires a higher yeast ratio. ie 1 gallon might use 1.5 grams. But when I go to a 5 gallon I use 11.5 grams. that's just what I have found. I'm sure there are those who are more knowledgeable than I am on here who would have more info for you.
