gonna bottle a 60/40 pils/wheat malt hef this week. about 20 ibu of spalt in it. US05 yeast. My wife wants a raspberry wheat and they sold me a 4oz bottle of raspberry extract that i am supposed to add at bottling time. the question is, how much of this stuff am i supposed to add for a 5gal batch. they say add to taste, what taste? i don't have a clue. i mean, i don't want raspberry soda but she expects some raspberry flavor. the consequences could be severe if i screw this up.... guidance please. oh, and she likes 'em fizzy so it will get 5oz of corn sugar at bottling

Adding to taste means you add some, taste it, if you think it's enough flavor, don't add anymore. If you think it needs more, add some more.

There's no right answer to your question, that's why the instructions say add to taste - it's your taste.
