It's traditional to grill up meat for Independence Day:
This reminds me of when I was in college. They had an annual bonfire competition between the dorms. Once the bonfires were built, the fire department would go through and light them up. As those fires smoldered and went out, the students would sneak in behind them and REALLY get them going. Firemen are great at putting out fires but evidently they know squat about starting them!
