Hey, what are you doing with my putty knife??
Hey, what are you doing with my putty knife??
Is this a sign of the collective national IQ declining or a sign that home ec isn’t taught, much, anymore?

sometimes, @MaxStout , I do wonder just how good the 60s were to you....
I live in a state where the Rockies are a prominent feature. That vehicle would fit right in with the out of work loggers in Western MT and give the recent CA transplants a bad case of the vapors.I kinda expected to see Appalachian mountains in the background, not Rockies.
I was in HS and college the 60’s. I concur; the 60’s were great.![]()
I didn’t say I remembered them; I said they were great. If you remember the 60s, you did it wrong.
It is sometimes said in Montana that the reason it’s so windy here is that Idaho blows and North Dakota sucks.I recall seeing a bumper sticker in Montana once that read "The wind does not blow at fort peck, it sucks".

I didn’t. That’s why I kinda, sorta, remember the 60s.You didn't eat the brown acid?
DON'T EAT THE BROWN ACID!
Word. Many of my friends in the '60s did not come home, and some of those that did were...changed.
Not one of my favorite decades...

God I love the stonework!Home sweet second home. Built around 1840, over the past 6 years it's been completely renovated on the inside, this year we start on the exterior renovations
my son is 6 3, I don\t think he ducks. That/s the old farm kitchen, to the left is the furnace room, that door is definitely short. We're debating now whether to remove the stucco over the porch and re-grout the stonework to match the rest ofthe house. By far the best stonework is the back of the house, the big barn and even the garage. Working areas of the farm got more attention than the living quarters.God I love the stonework!
Is that doorway on the right built for today's normal height folk or then's normal height folk? (asks a 6'2" guy who has hit his head too many times)
