I am wondering what is the best placement inside my keezer of my Ranco digital temp probe to get an accurate overall reading? I have installed a small 12vDC fan in the lid of my keezer to help keep air circulating and temps uniform. I'm just wondering where and how to install the temp probe for the most consistent reading?

IMO, it's best to have it in liquid. That helps keep it from kicking on too frequently. I use a White Labs vial in my kegerator; just drilled the top, installed a grommet, filled with water and inserted the probe. I did something similar with a water bottle for the analog Johnson controller on my beer fridge.
