Quick (stupid) yeast question

I've had a smack pack sitting in the basement for about two months. It hasn't been refrigerater or exposed to heat.

Question: is the yeast still good or should I order a new smack pack?

Make a starter.

Smack it, if it expands, you have some healthy yeast. I'm confident it'll work, but for best results make a starter.

Smack it, even if it doesn't really expand it's very likely okay, but making a starter will let you know for sure.
