Quick question: How quickly must yeast be washed after primary?

I'd really try to get it out of the bucket and into a sanitized jar as soon as convenient, probably after bottling is complete and before cleaning up. At that point you can set it in the frige and wash a few days later if necessary.
 
I take it right after racking is done, swirl it around, then pour into first vessel to settle. Then I do whatever I need to do for 20 minutes, then pour off the top part into another vessel(s) shooting for 4 jars of yeast when it's done. Yes, needs to be done right away or at worst, put lid/airlock back on and stick bucket in fridge.
