Questions on use of blood orange juice

I would like to either brew a Wit beer, or make a cider with blood orange juice. Has anybody used blood oranges, or blood orange juice in any of their brews? If so when did you add it and under what conditions (i.e. temp, gravity, primary, secondary...) I have had the crispen cider called prepare to die, and it was quite good!
 
Ive used the fresh zest of one added at flameout for a wit, the flavor came thru quite well, It was pleasant, I preferred it to other citrus peel ive used.
