I'm planning on brewing NB's 115th Hopburst IPA this weekend (AG), and I've got a few questions -
The recipe says it should yield 6 gal of wort. I've got a 6 gallon carboy and several 5 gallon carboys. Should I split this into 2 5gal carboys, or use my 6gal carboy and leave a little bit of space?
I read through some other posts on this beer, and couldn't find too much info on what kind of starters you guys used. Should I get a second yeast pack for this? I plan on making a starter 24 hours before with a stir plate. Debating between 1 and 2 packs of yeast.
Any other tips are most welcome - this is my biggest beer to date, pretty excited about this beast.
