Hey Brewers,
I'm currently fermenting 2.5 Gal. of Oktoberfest Style Lager....My concern as I watch the sediment build up in my Mr. Beer keg it looks to be clinging to the sides a little bit, with the sediment level reaching right at the bottom of the bottling spout. I'm using Saflager S-23 & it's been working about 8 days now. Does any one have ideas on how I can keep the yeast sediment from comming out of the spout?
I'd thought about running the beer into one of our food grade buckets from work, cleaning the Mr. Beer keg, then pouring the beer back in it to settle before i bottle.
Any advice is appreciated!
