I just received my new BeerBrite filtration system. Looks great and it functions well, although I really did not see much clarifying happen. This was for a cider that I did, using the 1 micron filter since I had already cold crashed it for a few days I skipped the 5 micron. What came out looked about the same as what went into the filter, still a bit cloudy. I pushed it through the filter using about 4-5 psi. I usually do all grain brewing, this cider was just a one time thing I was doing, but I was really hoping for more out of this filter. Any suggestions from anyone who uses this same system? is it worth looking at an even smaller filter, like .5 micron? What should I be expecting out of it? I did plenty of research but it left me a little disappointed...I'll give it another shot with a pale ale or something but still..
Thanks for any insight!
