I procrastinated on brewing and now because of some health issues, minor surgery, I will not be able to brew for at least a month. But I made a starter 3 weeks ago and had my grains crushed around that time. When I am ready to brew again do I just use my yeast starter and crushed grains? The starter has been in a flask, covered with aluminum foil, in the fridge. The grains have been in a plastic bag in a kitchen closet.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

I'd make another starter just to make sure the yeast is ready for the job (which it probably is). There isn't a whole lot you can do with the crushed grains; go ahead and use them if it isn't too long.
