So I have a three gallon carboy that I have cider in. It had to cracks in it so I sealed them...I thought now almost a week into it noticed that it was leaking. Can I just rack into one gallon jugs or what should I do?

Wow, yeah, don't use glass bottles with cracks in them first off.

Second, yes get out of there and into something else soon. 1 gallon jugs will work. Good luck! :)

Racking is a great time to add nutrient, assuming there's at least 1/3 of the fermentation left. Any less and the nutrient may not be completely used up and leave odd flavors in the cider, if you've already passed that point consider adding a lesser around than the recipe calls for.

No, it doesn't have to be full. CO2 will fill the dead space, just as if you drank the first two gallons.
