Hey Brewers,

I'm working with a limited amount of equipment & I currently do not have a priming bucket. So I've been forced to use raw (undiluted) corn sugar to prime individual bottles, which seems to be leaving sediment. Does anyone know how to make priming solution that i could mix and prime one bottle at a time. (i.e: 1tsp liquid per 12oz. bottle)

I Use:
1-Liters
12oz. Glass

Thanks

You're always going to get sediment at the bottom of the bottles, even if clear at bottling time. But the clearer at bottling, the less yeast dregs you'll wind up with.
And a bottling bucket & the Italian spigot that's the most common is only $10-$12. I trust you have a bottling wand? Even less money if you get a food grade bucket from home depot. Then the bucket & spigot would be about $8.

I'd order some Brewers Best or other priming tabs - you just figure out how many based on the directions and desired carb level, than drop the appropriate number of tabs into each bottle.
The other way you risk uneven carbonation and bottle bombs - the tabs work great.

Yeah, if & when I get a keg setup I'm totally going to grab some Cooper's drops for some bottle-conditioning samples. Definitely easier than messing about with per-bottle corn sugar measurement.
