Hi All,
I have a RIS that has been in secondary fermentation for about 18 months-
in a used 5 GAL whiskey barrel.
FG when I racked to the barrel was 1.031.
I normally keg and force carbonate all my brews.
However, I would like to bottle this batch.
Since there is likely little yeast activity left, how would one prime this before bottling for carbonation?
I am considering racking the barrel to a corny keg, force-carbonating, and bottling from my keg.
Thanks in advance!
Keith
