I have a mypin pid and I cannot figure out how to control the power output. On my boil kettle I want to maintain a rolling boil. I believe I need to adjust the power output on the element to around 80%.

Can someone help me?

Mypin t4a

Ta4 doesnt not have the manual pwm mode capability... you need the TD4 model family for this (like the Td4-snr) .. sorry
if you had the td4 it would be as easy as holding the blue button down for 3 seconds till the green light comes on then setting your % value and hiting the yellow button to set it.

As a work around you can just set the temp to 213 degrees but you will get a 100% full power boil so if your element is very powerful for the amount your trying to brew this will cause a very vigorous boil with a lot of boiloff.
