In my ongoing quest to acquire more beer paraphernalia than I need, I picked up a jockey box with a single line cold plate.

Is this worth keeping? I like the idea of being able to bring a keg and this jockey box to a party. But on the other hand, I hear they have their own issues and the keg has to remain decently cool (~50 degrees F) which would necessitate a keg koozie or bucket of ice, which would be more junk I don't need/shouldn't buy.

Plus, I could stop being so lazy and just bottle from the keg.

Thoughts?

i have never used or owned a jockey box. i think the idea is cool. you will want keg coozie you can get them with an ice thing you freeze. they say it will keep it cold for 24 hours
