Polyclar and Oxidation...

iI currently have a beer that has the dreaded "cardboard" taste. I messed up, I know what I did, but I'm hoping to try and save this beer anyway!

I read this on MidWest Supplies page about Polyclar

Do you think I could remove the cardboard taste by using Polyclar?

Anyone have any success using this on oxidized beer before?

Polyclar is a mixture of PVPP and silica gel. The PVPP removes polyphenols while the silica gel removes proteins. What you are tasting is trans-2-nonenal and the only thing that can fix that flavor is the drain. We all **** up sometimes. Just make your next beer twice the strength to make up for it!
