So, made a Hex nut brown ale kit from Midwest and said to cool the wort below 80f well it was well below 80 it was around 50 f is that too low should I be worried.
 
How long has it been? it will probably be a pretty slow starter. how did you get it that low without realizing it?
 
I just put ice in the 5 gallon pal and purred and stirred and took a temp reading and that's what it said it will still ferment right it just make take a little longer right or will it be fine?
 
What yeast are you using? S-04?

If you let it naturally come up to about 64*F and give the bucket/carboy a gentle swirl, you can rouse the yeast and let it get to work.

Better to err on the side of too cool than too hot.
 
+1 on BigFloyd's comments. At worst, too cool will put the yeast to sleep and add to your lag time before active ferm begins. Swirling will get the yeast off the bottom and wake them up once the wort is at the low end of the desired ferm temp.
