So I pitched my yeast into my pale ale. The temp was 80f. i just read the yeast vile and it said to pitch at 70f. Am I in trouble? Or is this ok? I usually pitch my dry yeast at about 80f and never have a problem; this is my first liquid yeast vile. Its a white labs english ale yeast. What should I do? Will it be ok?

It's fine, I think everyone has done it and it's turned out just fine for everyone.

Don't pitch any yeast at 80 if you can help it. Always try to get below 70 first.

Every kit I've used said 80F and below. I've never cooled much below 80 before I pitched. I think you'll be just fine
